My Little Box - Gypset Edition August

This is the last of My Little Box reviews for the moment as I am taking a break from my subscription. This month’s theme is gypset; all things bohemian and free. The first item is this small bucket bag, something which is currently trending, designed by Antik Batik. Next are some hair ties which double up as bracelets. Also included are the fold out magazine and the Kanako illustrated print. Inside the beauty bag, we have some bronzing powder from the My Little Beauty range… …and the Colour Hybrid from So Susan. This can be used to bring colour to your cheeks or bringing a perfect pout for your lips. The final item is this body milk form Korres. Keeping the skin moisturised and healthy through its combination of almond oil, aloe vera and shea butter, its fragrance of pear and lemon is lovely and light – perfect for the summer! I have mixed feelings about this month’s box. I quite like the variety of the items in the beauty bag, but I feel a little dis...

My Little Box July Edition - The Road Trip Box

This is box three of My Little Box subscription. After being initially disappointed with the first box I received, last month's box was a pleasant surprise. There were delivery problems with last month, which meant subscribers received their box late last month. This meant less of a wait in between boxes (only two weeks!), yet how does the July box fare? Does it continue to excel? This month's theme is Road Trip, so there are lots of travel goodies included! First item is the Ready To Send Notebook (RRP £3.50) with a Cristal Stylus Bic Pen (RRP £1.40). The idea is to take this on your travels, and jot down all the things you do and see. Seal it up and send to a loved one, so they can read what you have been up to! This is quite a sweet idea, and the Kanako design is lovely! This "Never Stop Exploring" box contains the next item. This is a travel organiser (RRP £10.50) which contains pockets for tickets, passport and money, making it han...

My Little Box June Edition - The French Riviera Box

I wrote last month about how I was a little disappointed with the Provence box in terms of the items that were included. I decided to give My Little Box another go as I really like the concept. I used a discount code to get free p+p (I think the current one is SPRINGTIME) making the cost £11. This month's box was a vast improvement on the Provence box! Inside the box is the free magazine, a Kanako print, a beauty bag, a box of sunglasses and two storage bags. The products are influenced by this month's featured designer, Sarah Lanvoine.  These sunglasses are stylish and great for summer (should the sunshine last!). Includes cleaning cloth. These storage bags are beautifully designed and sturdy as well. On the pack, it implies it can store plants and flowers, as well as make up and other bits and bobs. We also have the Kanako print, which is cute, and the fold out magazine, which includes more information about this month's products,...

My Little Box May 2015: The Provence Box

I saw adverts for My Little Box on Facebook, checked out its website, and gave it a go! For £11 a month and £3.95 P + P (although I used the SPRINGTIME code to gain free postage for the first box), you receive a box containing beauty samples and products, a magazine, a print and lifestyle items too. I received my first box a few days ago, and was it worth the wait? I am not too sure. First of all, here is the box... Included is a drawstring canvas bag containing the beauty products, a box entitled "Sunny things inside" and the print, dress-up doll magnets and the magazine tied up with a ribbon. One of the beauty products, the shower gel, was already open and had leaked inside the bag, which was annoying. The beauty products are actually small samples, showcasing the best of L'Occitane, a well known and good quality brand. However, most of these products have been given away as a free gift from L'Occitane themselves. You can already get i...
