Yesstyle Beauty Mini Haul

I have shopped with Yesstyle a few times over the past couple of years. The items on sale are more of a different variety and sizing to what you would in UK’s high street shops. As a Chinese girl, I find some of the clothes don’t suit me nor fit me very well, so I recommend Yesstyle if you are looking for something a bit different. Yesstyle don’t only sell clothes but they sell lifestyle accessories and beauty products. The next two posts are about items I bought recently which fall into those two categories. I originally bought some Hello Kitty Wet Wipes (no longer available on the website) only to be told that the item had been cancelled because it was found to be defective (I was told at the last minute after waiting nearly a month!). However, when I received my parcel I was surprised to find that they had been sent! Should I use these or not?…Yesstyle didn’t really comment on why it was defective, the Hello Kitty cover is not attached, is that why? There is a lot of Hello ...

My Little Box June Edition - The French Riviera Box

I wrote last month about how I was a little disappointed with the Provence box in terms of the items that were included. I decided to give My Little Box another go as I really like the concept. I used a discount code to get free p+p (I think the current one is SPRINGTIME) making the cost £11. This month's box was a vast improvement on the Provence box! Inside the box is the free magazine, a Kanako print, a beauty bag, a box of sunglasses and two storage bags. The products are influenced by this month's featured designer, Sarah Lanvoine.  These sunglasses are stylish and great for summer (should the sunshine last!). Includes cleaning cloth. These storage bags are beautifully designed and sturdy as well. On the pack, it implies it can store plants and flowers, as well as make up and other bits and bobs. We also have the Kanako print, which is cute, and the fold out magazine, which includes more information about this month's products,...

Glossybox June Edition

I have seen various offers for Glossybox, a beauty subscription box. Every month, a selection of beauty products and samples are collected for £10 plus £3.25 p+p. Subscription packages are also available for 3, 6 and 12 months. Each box is usually centred around a theme. This month is the "Festival Edit". What gets delivered is a sleek pink box. Open it and inside is a gift card for Hello Fresh, a website that pieces together recipe cards and ingredients for your convenience. Also inside is a leaflet which explains what products are included. The beauty products are wrapped up neatly in pink tissue paper and sealed with black ribbon. Opening it feels like a very special occasion. Included are three full size products - Glossybox Flash Tattoos, Essence Gel Nail Polish and Kueshi Anticellulite Booster - and two sample products - Halo Facial Wipes and Monu Spa Reviving Mist. The Kueshi Anticellulite Booster usually retails at £14.55. The use of nat...

My Little Box May 2015: The Provence Box

I saw adverts for My Little Box on Facebook, checked out its website, and gave it a go! For £11 a month and £3.95 P + P (although I used the SPRINGTIME code to gain free postage for the first box), you receive a box containing beauty samples and products, a magazine, a print and lifestyle items too. I received my first box a few days ago, and was it worth the wait? I am not too sure. First of all, here is the box... Included is a drawstring canvas bag containing the beauty products, a box entitled "Sunny things inside" and the print, dress-up doll magnets and the magazine tied up with a ribbon. One of the beauty products, the shower gel, was already open and had leaked inside the bag, which was annoying. The beauty products are actually small samples, showcasing the best of L'Occitane, a well known and good quality brand. However, most of these products have been given away as a free gift from L'Occitane themselves. You can already get i...
