Kawaii Box - September Box

This is the last box in my three-month subscription and it is one that will be missed. One small grumble is that the box always seems to be squashed when it arrives at my doorstep. I am a little fearful that something will be broken or fall out, but thankfully this has never happened.

So in my last box...

Kabaya Fish Gummies - I really like the packaging. The sweets are ok - citrus flavoured.
Kawaii food sticker set - yummy
Moomin Purse - although I have never been a big Moomin fan, it does look quite good!
Fragrance beads - this is something I have never really seen before. The pot is really cute.

Squishy Bread Charm - kawaii charms are a favourite of mine, and this is another one to add to my collection!
DIY Jewellery Kit - something to fill my time with, it reminds me of when I used to love making bracelets when I was younger
Bunny Pen - this is supposed to be a "neck stretching bunny pen" which looks quite bizarre. It is something that will stand out in my pencil case

Alpaca Pouch - this is something that I can find a good use for, and I like the print
Caplico Ice Cream sweet - this is a biscuit cone with strawberry and chocolate cream. This tastes quite nice - not too sweet and not too heavy.
Egg Mini Plush - he looks so joyful!

What I have really liked about these boxes is that they are quite big, so you get a huge range of items of differing sizes. I also like the addition of Japanese and Korean sweets, some of which I have really found tasty. I will miss this box and I hope I can subscribe again in the future.

My Little Box May 2015: The Provence Box

I saw adverts for My Little Box on Facebook, checked out its website, and gave it a go! For £11 a month and £3.95 P + P (although I used the SPRINGTIME code to gain free postage for the first box), you receive a box containing beauty samples and products, a magazine, a print and lifestyle items too. I received my first box a few days ago, and was it worth the wait? I am not too sure. First of all, here is the box... Included is a drawstring canvas bag containing the beauty products, a box entitled "Sunny things inside" and the print, dress-up doll magnets and the magazine tied up with a ribbon. One of the beauty products, the shower gel, was already open and had leaked inside the bag, which was annoying. The beauty products are actually small samples, showcasing the best of L'Occitane, a well known and good quality brand. Travels in Bath!

A few months ago, I had the opportunity to visit Bath. I spent about a day and a half in Bath, not enough time to see everything sadly, but I had the chance to see some of the great sights! Bath is great in that it is easy to walk through. Having arrived at the train station, the first stop was the Sally Lunn Museum. Having done my research on the internet, the Sally Lunn bun is very famous in Bath. Every tourist is advised to try one! Five minutes we arrived - the building consists of three levels of dining areas, and there is a museum and gift shop on the lower level. The building itself is quite historic and retains much of its quaint charm. Upon entering, the place is quite busy - we manage to sneak a table in the corner by the window. What is said to be unique about the bun is that it is great tasting as a savoury or sweet dish. Following that, we ordered the smoked salmon bun and the dulce con leche bun. Pokemon Sun

I started playing Pokemon Sun last month and at first, I thought it wouldn’t be as good as Omega Ruby, which I throughly enjoyed. However, I am really enjoying it! As you progress, the story is so interesting and I like how the trials are so challenging. I found Kiawe and Mallow’s trial particularly tough! At the minute, I am about to take on the new Pokemon league (?). I also found a shiny Absol, which was so difficult to catch. A normal Absol was hard to catch in the first place and it took a great deal of Ultra Balls to catch her!
